Online Generators for QR Codes, Passwords and More
Make the things you need in a hurry: a QR code for a menu, flyer or business card, a barcode for a product label, a strong password or passphrase, or a batch of UUIDs. Barcodes download as PNG or SVG, and QR codes download as PNG at the size you pick, so choose a large size for print.
Developers and site owners can generate realistic test data (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, CSV files, mock API JSON and Luhn-valid test card numbers) plus meta tags, robots.txt, sitemap.xml and .htaccess files. Designers can build CSS gradients, box shadows, color palettes and favicons and copy the code in one click.
Everything is generated in your browser, and nothing you enter is uploaded. Passwords and UUIDs come from your browser's built-in cryptographically secure random number generator (the Web Crypto API).

QR code and barcode generators
Create a QR code from any link or text with your own size and colors, or a Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, UPC-A or ITF-14 barcode for labels and packaging.
Password and UUID generators
Generate strong random passwords or passphrases with a strength meter that shows the entropy, and create up to 1,000 version 4 UUIDs at once.
Name and username generators
Get random first, last and full names for characters, games and placeholders, or a username in a fun, professional, cyber, cute or mystic style.
Color, CSS and icon generators
Build linear and radial gradients, layered box shadows and five-color palettes, then copy the CSS. Make a favicon from text or an emoji at 16, 32, 64 and 180 pixels, or search and copy from more than 1,200 emoji.
SEO and website file generators
Write meta and Open Graph tags and preview how a link will look when it is shared, then generate robots.txt (including rules for AI crawlers), sitemap.xml and Apache .htaccess files.
Test data generators
Fill forms, databases and demos with fake names, emails on the reserved example.com domain by default, phone numbers, addresses, CSV rows and mock API responses, and test checkout forms with Luhn-valid test card numbers.
Frequently asked questions
Do QR codes made here expire?
No. The QR code generator puts your link or text directly into the code, with no redirect service in between, so the code keeps working for as long as the link it points to works. The trade-off is that you cannot change the destination later; to point somewhere new, make a new code.
What is the difference between a QR code and a barcode?
A standard barcode such as UPC-A or EAN-13 stores a short number in a single row of bars and is read by store scanners. A QR code is a two-dimensional grid that can hold a full web address or a few hundred words of text, and most phone cameras can read it. Use the barcode generator for product labels and a QR code for links.
How long should a password be?
NIST's digital identity guidelines (SP 800-63B) call for at least 15 characters when a password is the only thing protecting an account, and longer is better. The password generator shows the entropy of each password so you can see how much each extra character adds.
Can test credit card numbers be used to buy things?
No. The numbers pass the Luhn check that checkout forms use to catch typos, but they are not linked to any bank account, so a real payment is declined. Use them only in a payment provider's test mode, such as the Stripe test card numbers the test card generator includes.
